A delegation from the Cultural and Educational Section of the Russian Embassy in Iran visited Shahid Beheshti University and held talks with Dr. Abtahi, Director of Scientific Cooperation at the University, followed by a tour of the Faculty of Literature and its various departments.
According to the Public Relations Office of Shahid Beheshti University, during the meeting, Ms. Vatinova, representative of the Russian University Cooperation Organization in Iran, and Mr. Tanayev, representative of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation in Iran, emphasized the importance of expanding strategic relations in the field of research cooperation.
The meeting focused on reviewing existing opportunities and challenges for enhancing scientific collaboration, facilitating student and faculty exchanges, implementing joint projects, and making maximum use of technological capacities between Shahid Beheshti University and Russian universities.
Prior to the meeting, members of the Cultural and Educational Section of the Russian Embassy visited the Faculty of Literature, the “Lomonosov-Razi” Center, the bust of Rasul Gamzatov, the national poet of the Republic of Dagestan, Russian Federation, as well as the Laser and Plasma Research Institute, which had previously sustained damage during enemy attacks in the Ramadan War.
