In preparation for the upcoming International Congress on Palestine, the first meeting of the Policy Council was held with the presence of Dr. Aghamiri, President of the University, alongside a group of congress officials, faculty members, and researchers. The meeting focused on discussing the overall framework and main themes of the congress.
Participants emphasized the need to develop practical strategies to support the Palestinian people and examined the scientific, cultural, and political dimensions of the congress. Plans were also made to ensure the successful organization of this international event.
The International Congress on Palestine is scheduled to take place on October 5–6, 2025, hosted by Shahid Beheshti University. Designed to advocate for the rights of the Palestinian nation and highlight their struggle, the congress will bring together scholars from both Iran and abroad. It aims to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of effective strategies in support of the Palestinian people.
