In its second joint call, the Research Foundation for the Protection of Researchers and Technologists (INSF) and the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research (RFBR) have joint research projects in the fields of mathematics, physics and astronomy, chemistry and advanced materials; Bioinformatics and Cognitive Sciences; Earth Sciences (focusing on studies of Antarctica and the Caspian Sea); History, Archeology, Ethnology and Anthropology; Economics; Linguistics and Cultural Studies; Information Technology, Computer Systems and Artificial Intelligence; Mechanics and Aerospace and advanced oil and gas studies provide support within the framework of the call criteria.
